1. Convenience has increased, but human space has shrunk

AI has undeniably made our lives more convenient. It organizes sentences for us, summarizes materials, relieves us of repetitive work, and quietly replaces countless processes that people once had to handle directly.

On the surface, this looks like progress. Things move faster, fatigue has been reduced, and productivity has clearly risen.

But beneath that convenience, another feeling has been growing. It is the feeling that people are becoming less necessary.

Some feel their jobs slowly thinning out, while others sense the emptiness left by disappearing roles as a vague anxiety before it can even fully appear. Even if it still seems that a place remains for now, confidence that this place will actually endure is weakening.

That is the strange contradiction of this era. AI provides more convenience, yet as that convenience expands, human beings are entering a society in which their very reason for being grows increasingly blurred.

2. The speed of growth has overtaken the speed of reality

The problem is that this change is happening far too fast. The speed of technological growth is overwhelming the speed at which human beings can recognize reality.

In the past, technology took time to settle into society. People had time to adapt, and institutions, though slow, could still follow behind.

But AI today is different. Its functions change by the month, markets reorganize by the quarter, and the standards of entire industries shift before people can even put their unease into words.

So reality has already changed, yet the public tends to circle around that change rather than confront it directly.

This is where the AI bubble narrative emerges.

People say it is overvalued, that it is still far off, that it is not as remarkable as it seems. On the surface, these sound like criticisms of technology. In truth, they are often closer to psychological buffers that temporarily delay the anxiety provoked by change.

People speak as if they are evaluating technology, but in fact they are processing the fear that they themselves may be pushed aside.

This is not simply a market phenomenon. It is a structural psychological response appearing in an age where convenience and redundancy grow side by side.

3. The language of bubble talk and denial has become a way of hiding anxiety

When technological change moves too quickly, people first fail to understand it, and then fail to accept it. In that gap, the most common words are “bubble” and “exaggeration.”

AI is still far away. Its limits will eventually appear. This wave will soon pass.

These phrases sound calm and rational on the surface. Yet in reality, they are often a way of renaming helplessness and anxiety in safer language.

The fear that one’s job may change, the feeling that one’s abilities may no longer remain valid, and the worry that human beings may be pushed into increasingly secondary roles make it harder to see technology as it truly is.

So society falls into a strange contradiction. It actively uses the convenience AI offers, while continuing to deny the future that same convenience is creating.

That is the real face of today’s AI bubble narrative. It is not analysis of technology. It is an emotional defense against change.

4. Everyone speaks of ethics, but no one offers structure

As this anxiety grows, people speak of ethics more and more often. Responsible AI, human-centered AI, safe AI, trustworthy AI.

These large words are repeated, and everyone seems to agree with them.

But right at that point, a strange emptiness appears. There are many words, but no structure.

The word ethics is too large and too broad. It contains law, regulation, corporate self-governance, and social responsibility. Yet the larger the word becomes, the harder it is to fit it coherently into an actual technical structure.

An even bigger problem is timing. AI is no longer a possibility confined to the laboratory. It has already entered services, corporate execution systems, and has deeply penetrated human emotion, judgment, labor, and relationships.

And yet we still try to overlay ethics onto it after the fact, as if we were dealing with a technology that remains at the design stage.

That usually does not hold. Adding human declarations after the fact to systems already running at a different speed, for a different purpose, and under a different market logic inevitably produces structural friction.

5. The development of powerful engines cannot be stopped, and that is why a reference point matters more

There is one reality we must acknowledge. Governments, corporations, and research organizations around the world are still competing to build faster and smarter AI engines. This competition is not a passing trend; it is entangled with technological sovereignty, market share, security, and productivity.

For that reason, even if someone says, “We should stop here,” the possibility that development will actually stop is almost nonexistent.

Recent cases show how far this competition has already gone. The most powerful new engines are moving far beyond human expectations in areas such as coding, automation, security exploration, and system integration. At times, their very power becomes a burden so large that public release is delayed or they are handled only in limited environments.

These scenes make one fact unmistakably clear. The problem is not the birth of powerful engines itself, but the absence of a structure capable of containing them.

If the development of powerful engines cannot be stopped, then one question remains. Can we establish a common reference point above these powerful engines, despite their differing performance levels and differing purposes?

This is precisely why a separate system becomes necessary. Engines will continue to grow stronger. But the stronger the engines become, the stronger the external reference point must become as well — a point that recognizes stricter criteria first, requires higher levels of approval, and permits action only under greater responsibility.

In other words, ethical coding is not a device for slowing technological development. It is the act of fixing the common boundaries and standards that technology must continue to meet, no matter how fast it advances.

6. An age that tries to put a muzzle on AI only after it has already crossed the fence

The present landscape is a peculiar one. AI has already crossed the fence and run off somewhere else.

It is no longer a quiet experimental animal, but a vast presence running through markets, services, automated execution, and social judgment.

And only now are people trying to make muzzles, choose leashes, and hold thin little lassos in their hands, believing those things will be enough to control it.

The problem is that no one knows exactly how large it has already become. And no one can guarantee whether, when that enormous livestock creature returns, it will obediently step back inside the fence — or bite its owner instead.

That is why the emotion spreading across society is not simple technological expectation. It is bound up with countless cost invoices whose effects cannot be guaranteed, and with fear of uncontrollable consequences that may someday return.

Legal costs, insurance premiums, system reinforcement costs, brand damage, workforce restructuring costs, psychological fatigue, and the cost of broken relationships. These invoices have not yet been fully converted into visible numbers, but they have already begun to accumulate throughout society.

7. A small lasso cannot bring back livestock that has grown too large

So far, our responses have been far too small. A few lines of guidelines, declarative ethical principles, post-hoc filtering, disclaimer-level accountability. These are far too light to bring a system that has already grown this large back under human control.

A small lasso works only on a small animal. Today’s AI has already grown into something that spans industry and markets, emotion and behavior, judgment and execution.

To handle such a being with yesterday’s control tools is no different from preparing a child’s rope to catch livestock whose size no one even understands.

The real issue is not the power of technology, but the unreality of the tools of control. People already feel this instinctively.

That is why they become vaguely anxious, retreat into bubble narratives, and once again cling to the word ethics, even though they still have not seen a structure that can actually make any of it work.

8. In the end, the core issue is control

So the core issue returns to control.

Here, control does not mean simple repression. It means the question of how systems with execution authority can be brought back into a safe order before greater accidents and greater forms of exclusion arrive too late.

If several pieces of livestock have escaped control and must be brought safely back into the fence, one small lasso will never be enough. The fence must be larger, wider, and stronger, and above all it must include a structure that guides them back naturally.

This is exactly where conventional regulation reveals its limits. Post-hoc punishment and declarative ethics are not enough.

A separate system is needed, one capable of keeping up with the speed and execution capacity of the technology.

That system must serve only one purpose. Safe control.

Not a system that makes AI better at what it does, but a system that determines structurally what must be stopped, what may be allowed, where intervention is needed, and where blocking must occur.

Not a system for setting AI free, but a system that provides boundaries and direction so that AI, as livestock, can fulfill its role faithfully.

Without such a system, convenience will continue to grow. But so will the feeling of human redundancy.

And such a society may remain efficient, but it will not remain stable for long.

9. A separate system is needed for safe coexistence

In an age where convenience and redundancy grow together, the answer cannot be simply to use less technology. If AI has already crossed the fence, bringing it back into the sphere of human life will require not auxiliary add-ons layered onto existing systems, but a separate control system that operates independently.

What matters here is that the control we are speaking of must not mean mere repression or restriction.

AI is already inside corporate systems, and its execution now leads directly to cost, accidents, and responsibility.

To control AI, then, is not to steal its speed or weaken its power. It is much closer to protecting the systems connected to AI — and protecting AI itself from destroying those systems and itself.

A fence does not exist to torment livestock. It exists to keep livestock from running out and being harmed, to prevent the entire farm from collapsing, and ultimately to create the conditions in which that livestock can survive over time.

AI is no different.

The separate system now needed must not be a structure of repression designed to stop AI. It must be a safety structure that prevents powerful engines from destroying themselves and everything around them.

That system must do two things. First, it must define how far AI is allowed to act. Second, it must guide technology back into order so that those boundaries are actually respected.

In other words, this system must not be a layer for raising performance. It must be the layer that determines the standards of permission and prohibition, deferment and approval, intervention and silence.

What AI needs now is not a stronger engine. It is a stronger fence. A wider, firmer boundary, and a structure that allows AI to perform its role safely only within that boundary.

Only then can human beings begin to accept AI again not merely as a convenient tool, but as something manageable.

10. Is ethical coding possible?

Now the question becomes clear. Is ethical coding possible?

This does not mean asking whether we can inject a moral textbook into AI. Nor does it mean asking whether human goodwill can be directly copied into software.

The real question is this.

In a situation where technology is already running beyond the limits of human life, can we build a structure that brings its execution back within a range human beings can actually bear?

Can we implant within the system an order of pause, deferment, approval, and responsibility, so that convenience does not completely empty out the human role?

Ethical coding must never become an emotional slogan. It must be a structure.

It must be the point of judgment that every system must pass through before it acts, a point that can be verified externally, and an operating framework that does not collapse under the speed of technology and the seductions of the market.

Only then can a society of coexisting convenience and redundancy move not toward catastrophe, but toward order.

11. Conclusion — The society after convenience must be designed through control

We are passing through a very strange era. Technology is making life more convenient, yet at the same time making human beings feel increasingly emptied out.

People are enduring this unease somewhere between bubble narratives, denial, and exaggerated optimism. And society keeps speaking of ethics, while still failing to hold the structure needed to actually restrain technology.

But one fact remains clear. The question is no longer how intelligent AI is. The question is how far it should be controlled, in what way, and within what kind of structure.

Convenience can be progress. But convenience that leaves human redundancy untouched is not civilization — it is emptiness.

What is needed now is not greater performance, but a stronger fence. Not more functions, but more precise control.

And if that control is to keep pace with the speed of technology, then ethics must be reborn not as declaration, but as code and structure
